Dr Mostafa Elnaggar completed his undergraduate medical studies in 1995 in Alexandria University, followed by MSc in radiotherapy (2002) and MD in clinical oncology (2009). After completing his medical training in Egypt, he undertook an Oncology Research Fellowship at St James’s Oncology Institute (Leeds teaching hospital) in the UK and is currently working as a locum consultant in clinical oncology at University Hospital of Derby and Burton. He has over 10 peer-reviewed publications and presented his research in a number of international conferences.
He was the head of the scientific committee at Department of Cancer Management and Research Medical Research Institute Alexandria university, Jan 2015 and April 2019. He also won the ‘Best poster’ extended abstract from University of South Florida at 2nd annual conference on nutritional ketosis and metabolic therapeutics USF Tampa Florida in Feb 2017.
